Lee Gaither is a veteran media executive with expertise in linear and non-linear network branding & launch protocols, operations, production, sales, and distribution strategy. Over the course of his career, Gaither has launched series across many genres, including comedy, drama, factual, kids programming, and sports. Gaither is the founder of Network-In-A-Box (NIAB), a Los Angeles-based firm that executes content platform distribution, branding, and content monetization strategy for broadcast, cable, streaming and digital.
Gaither is an experienced executive with a deep history in domestic and international development and distribution. He has longstanding relationships with most traditional media outlets, as well as MVPDs, advertisers, and media agencies, domestically and around the Globe. A passion for generational and cultural behavioral insights drives Gaither’s unique perspective on Gen-Z, Millennial, Gen-X, and Boomer consumers. His history as a creative executive who has launched hundreds of scripted and factual projects that target these demos has made him a sought-after expert in both generational and cultural identity in content and brand strategy.
Prior to founding NIAB, Gaither served as Senior Vice President of Programming at NBC, where he played roles simultaneously in Entertainment, Sports and Business Development as he helped lead the acquisitions of Telemundo, MUN2, Pax Stations (which later became ION Network), Bravo, and Universal Studios. Gaither joined NBC from Disney, where he served as Head of Narrative Series for The Disney Channel. Earlier in Gaither’s career, he held programming and content development positions at ABC Broadcasting, FOX Broadcasting, and USA Network. Later, Gaither was also responsible for the launch, programming, and positioning of the TV One Network for Comcast. Gaither is based in Los Angeles.
